1. General
1.1 This Website is the official website of Zhuhai Meizu Telecom Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Meizu"), for personal non-commercial use only. All visitors to the Website should read carefully the statements, terms etc. on the Website, and abide by the Internet laws and regulations. The uses of the Website, including but not limited to, browsing the information on the Website, downloading the Website content, or using the links to the third parties' website provided thereon, shall be deemed that the users have understood and fully agreed to all the terms in the Legal Notice, and are willing to take on all risks and legal liabilities of browsing the Website.
1.2 The content of the Legal Notice may change from time to time, so users should pay high attention in the use of the Website, which does not assume the obligations to notify.
2. Terms of Service
2.1 All the information and software on the Website are provided "AS IS", without any warranties or conditions, express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of accuracy, timeliness and non-infringement.
2.2 The Website only provides Internet-related services. The network charges that may possibly occur will be collected by telecom operators.
2.3 The referenced or linked information on the Website is designed to provide users with convenience. The content and its descriptions or products and services offered on those linked websites are not subject to the control of Meizu, and therefore Meizu is not responsible for those websites and the content, products or services thereon (including further links to third parties' websites). Any user who chooses to use the third parties' websites shall bear all the consequences and the risks it poses.
3. Use of Content on the Website
3.1 The Website does not have obligations to strictly review the audios, videos, texts, images and other documents uploaded by users, who need to ensure that any documents uploaded do not infringe any rights of third parties. Unless otherwise specified by the users or right holders, uploading of data by users shall be deemed to be licensed, and Meizu has permanent rights of free use of documents uploaded to the Website.
3.2 Should any unit or individual consider that the content of the Website may infringe upon their legitimate rights and interests, a timely written notice to Meizu shall be given to provide their identification, ownership certificate, specifical link (URL) and detailed violations. Once receipt of such legal documents, Meizu will remove the content related to the alleged infringement as soon as possible according to law.
4. Disclaimer
4.1 The Website shall not be liable for any loss of any user or third party, including but not limited to loss of data, loss due to copying or downloading of information or materials on the Website, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, wrongful acts, or any other legal theory, and whether the possibility of such loss had been suggested on the Website.
4.2 The website is entitled to have management and supervision of information and statements uploaded and published by users in accordance with national laws, regulations and forum rules, and software center rules, but does not take any responsibility for this.
4.3 If government agencies and competent authorities require disclosure of users' personal information in accordance with the provisions of laws and administrative regulations, the Website shall provide the government agencies and competent authorities with personal data under the law or for the purpose of public safety, without incurring any liability.
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
5.1 Any dispute due to this Notice or use of the Website is governed by laws of People's Republic of China.
5.2 Any dispute arising from the Notice or use of the Website shall be resolved through negotiation. In case such negotiation fails, the dispute may be submitted to the people's court where Meizu is located for settlement.

6.1 Although Meizu has taken reasonable measures to avoid computer viruses that appear on the web pages, but absolutely perfect security does not exist on the information network. The Website cannot be absolutely guaranteed from computer viruses, so users must take their own appropriate safety precautions. The Website does not bear any responsibility for computer viruses.
6.2 Within the scope permitted by law, the Website reserves the right to interpret and explain the Notice.
Privacy Statement
Meizu and its partners (hereinafter called "Meizu", the "Company", "We") understand the importance of privacy for customers. We strive to clearly explain how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information. The privacy policies outline our information processing approach.
Meizu always attached great importance to protection of privacy for users (including the natural persons, legal persons and other organizations through legitimate access to or use of of this product, hereinafter referred to as "Users" or "You"). In order to better protect your rights of use of the products and personal information, We hereby disclose the product or service usage, users' rights and obligations, as well as the collection, usage, storage, security protection, and way of disclosure of users' personal information and data. Before using the products or services, be sure to read and fully understand requirements and limitations in this "Privacy Statement" (hereinafter referred to as the "Statement"), which is provided with independence and integrity. When you choose to use the products, you are deemed to have understood and agreed to all the terms in this Statement, and voluntarily assume full responsibility and risk in the use of the products or service. 1. What personal information do we collect?
There are two ways of collecting information:
1.1 Information you provides to us:
When you register a Flyme account, it may require you to provide your personal information to us, such as: your name, email address, phone number, certificate number.
1.2 Information we collect in your using of our products and services:
It may require you to provide your mailing address, bank account number, etc. If necessary, we will also collect product-related information, such as the IP address, Cookie, location information, product manufacturers, product type, product unique identifier, device data, and other information.
2. Why do we collect personal information?
The are two main reasons based on which we need to collect your personal information:
2.1 Part of services can be provided only after your information is obtained.
2.2 Your information will help us better optimize the products and services to better meet your needs and provide you with more convenient personal customization services.
3. How do we collect personal information?
3.1 Information you provides directly
Some services require you to provide information directly to us. For example:
Many of our services allow users to create an account or profiles. Among these services, we may ask you to provide certain personal information in order to set up the account or profiles. For example, when you create a Flyme account, you may need to submit certain personal information, such as your name, phone number, email address, and ID number.
If you order a product or paid services to us, we may ask for your name, contact information, shipping address, billing address, and credit card information in order to process your order.
3.2 Information about service usage
In addition to the information you provides, we may also collect information about your usage of our services through software in your device as well as other ways. For example, we may collect:
Device information, such as the hardware model, phone number, IMEI number and other unique device identifier, MAC address, IP address, operating system version, and set-up of devices used to access the services.
Log information, such as the time and duration of use of services, the query words inputted through the search services, and any information stored on Cookie set in the devices.
Location information, such as the information about IP address of devices that may be sent to us when you use certain services.
Voice messages, such as the voice we recorded when you use voice commands to control the services (and may be stored on our server). (Please note, we work with a third-party service provider that are on our behalf to deliver voice-text conversion service. That provider may receive and store certain voice commands.)

3.3 Information from a third-party source
We may obtain your information from public sources (where permitted by law) and may combine it with information we received or other information about you. If you choose to connect third-party network services, we may also get your information from these services.

You can choose not to provide certain types of information (for example, information what we request when we improve profiles of Flyme account), but this may affect your access to certain services.
4. How do we use personal information collected?
4.1 Register for your or your device with services.
4.2 Provide the services or functions that you request.
4.3 Provide customized content and make recommendations for you according to your past use of our service activities.
4.4 Advertising, such as provide customized advertising and sponsorship content (through our advertising services, you can learn more about our practice here) and send you promotional information.
4.5 Assess and analyze markets, customers, products, and services, as well as ask your opinions of our products and services, and perform customer surveys.
4.6 Learn how you use our services in order to improve our services and develop new products and services.
4.7 Provide maintenance services for your device.
4.8 To the extent applicable law permits, hold a free prize draw, agon or promotions.

5. How do we store and protect personal information?
Meizu uses generally accepted industrial security standards and take encryption measures to protect users' personal identification information and data, to ensure that your information will not be accessed by unauthorized use or disclosure.
On the technical side, Meizu uses antivirus software, encryption protection, and monitoring systems to enhance defense and protection for Meizu data center. In the aspect of system, through security and privacy protection knowledge training conducted to Meizu staff, employees' understanding of importance of data protection is ensured. But based on the Internet defects and running risks, Meizu does not guarantee that your information is absolutely secure.
6. Third-party links and products
Where texts or icons indicating a service from a third party, the final content of the service is ultimately provided by the third party, and we do not carry out any form of censorship on its content, and also we shall not be responsible for security or privacy of any information collected on these websites or by other services. You should be more careful and view the privacy statements applicable to the third-party websites and services used.
7. Disclosure of information
We will not disclose your personal information to third parties, except in the following circumstances:
7.1 With your consent
Only with your consent shall we disclose your personal information to third parties.
7.2 Disclose your personal information to our affiliates or partners
In order to provide better service, we may disclose part of your personal information to our affiliated companies and partners, but we will strictly prohibit affiliates or partners sharing the information for any other purpose.
7.3 In accordance with legal requirements
In accordance with the requirements of laws, regulations, judicial or government authorities, we may disclose your personal information. In the case we are dealing with restructuring, merger or liquidation, your personal information may be transferred to the counterparty.
8. Cookies and other technologies

9. Legal Liability
9.1 Users should use the product based on reasonable and bona fide principles. If damage or third party litigation is caused as a result of your misuse, we will retain the right to defense and to seek compensation, the extent of which including but not limited to losses arising due to your misconduct, including but not limited to, court costs, attorney fees, transportation fees, and travel expenses.
9.2 The Statement is governed by laws of People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from the Statement shall be resolved through consultation. In case such negotiation fails, the dispute may be submitted to the court where Meizu is located for settlement.
10. Renewal of the Privacy Statement
In keeping with the products, services, and law, the Privacy Statement will be modified or changed at any time, which will be published promptly once it happens. You can continue to browse the Website or use Meizu products and services after such modifications or changes, which will be deemed to have accepted our modifications or changes to the Privacy Statement.
Intellectual Property Rights Statement
1. General
Meizu has always attached great importance to IPR protection and abided by Chinese IPR laws, regulations and binding regulatory documents.
All information on the Website, including but not limited to, the entire content of all trademarks, identifiers, business name and logo, texts, images, audios, videos, and programs used on the Website. The site layout, web design, site architecture and data editing, software or program used, and intellectual property rights are all independently owned by Meizu or co-owned with legal right holders concerning the related content.
Unless otherwise provided by law, without written authorization from Meizu, no one shall be allowed to reproduce, edit, distribute, assemble, modify, download, imitate, copy, republish, mirror, reverse engineer, or decompile or disassemble any content of copyright and other intellectual property rights owned by Meizu in any form, or else will be investigated for legal responsibility according to law by Meizu.
The reprint of web content on the Website by any third party within the limits of fair use must be indicated the source of reprint, author, links, and Meizu copyright symbol (if any) may not removed, otherwise Meizu reserves the right to pursue its legal responsibilities.
2. Notice of infringement and counter notification
According to Chinese laws, regulations and requirements of normative documents, Meizu developed measures and steps aimed at the protection of the legitimate interests of right holders, specifically as follows:
2.1 Notice of infringement
If the right holders claim that the content or links provided by third parties on the Website can be possibly in violation of their legitimate rights and interests, they may file a notice of infringement with Meizu, which shall contain the following:
a) Specific information of right holders, including the name, address, email, phone number, copy of a valid identity document (such as the identity cards, passports, business licenses).
b) The name of infringement content required to be removed and network address of links required to be unlinked.
c) Initial evidence of infringement, including but not limited to the ownership documents that can prove the right holders' legal right of the alleged infringement and descriptions about the infringement facts.
The notice of infringement must be signed by the right holder or an authorized person. In case the right holder is legal person or other units, offical seal is required.
The right holder shall be responsible for the authenticity of his notice, and assume full legal responsibility arising therefrom.
After receipt of such notice by Meizu, a formal examination shall be done during a reasonable period of time, e.g. about whether the notice meets the above requirements. Meizu will remove the alleged infringement content or disconnect the allegedly infringing link in accordance with the provisions of the laws and regulations. At the same time, Meizu hs the right to require the right holder to provide further evidence for the purpose of review, which the right holder should cooperate with.
While Meizu legally deletes the content of complaint or disconnects the link, it has the right to transfer the notice of infringement to the content or link provider; if as a result of unkonown address the notice cannot be transferred, Meizu will publish the notice of infringement through Internet.
2.2 Counter notification
The content or link providers can file a counter notification in writing with Meizu requesting recovery of deleted content or broken links within 3 working days after receipt of the notice of infringement transferred by Meizu or having learned it through Internet, provided that they think their offered content or links did not violate the rights of others.
The counter notification shall include the following:
a) Specific information of content or link providers, including the name, address, telephone number, a valid identity document (such as the identity cards, passports, and business licenses).
b) The exact name and network address corresponding to the content or links required to be restored.
c) Initial evidence of non-infringement, including but not limited to the ownership documents that can prove their legal rights to the allegedly infringing content or links, and descriptions of non-infringement facts.
The counter notification shall be signed by the right holder or a legally authorized person, and an official seal needs to be affixed for a unit.
The service object shall be responsible for the authenticity of the counter notification, and assume full legal responsibility arising therefrom.
After receiving the counter notification submitted by the content or link providers, a formal examination shall be done during a reasonable period of time, and if the counter notification meets the above requirements, Meizu will immediately restore the deleted content or broken links, while tranferring the counter notification to the right holders. The right holders shall not notify Meizu again of deleting the content, or disconnecting the links.
2.3 Submission of notice of infringement and counter notification
The notice of infringement and counter notification shall be filed with Meizu through the following ways:
a) To send the scanning copy to: ipr@meizu.com.
b) To mail the written materials to: Intellectual Property Right Department, Meizu Tech Bldg., Technology & Innovation Coast, Zhuhai (Postal Code: 519085).
The deletion or restoration of content and disconnection or reconnecting of links are conducted by Meizu in accordance with laws, for which Meizu does not undertake any responsibility.
Within the scope permitted by law, the final interpretation of this Statement is owned by Meizu.
