The more powerful in the MX series
This powerful camera has an ILDC-level chip, a focus motor as fast as 0.3 second, an optimized ISP chip, and 20.7 megapixel.
With a gentle press of the Camera button, your life's wonderful moments will be captured to remember forever.
Fully-enhanced photosensitive components and pixels
The MX4 uses Sony's premium CMOS IMX 220, with effective pixels of up to 20.7 megapixel. Compared with the previous generation, the number of pixels has increased by 250%.
A super-large 1/2.3" ILDC-level CMOS chip has increased the effective photosensitive area by 90%, while the area of single pixels still reaches 1.20um x 1.20um.
Pictures are sharper with rich colors and clear details even when enlarged by 2 times.
Speed focusing in 0.3 seconds
TDK's CloseLoop focusing motor contains a special sensor to record the motion trail of the lens. By analyzing the motion trail, the camera can speed up lens positioning and reduce repeated focusing.
This achieves speed focusing in 0.3 seconds, ensures zero-delay shooting, and helps you treasure those beautiful moments.
Stronger night-scene imaging
High resolution usually means quality loss. The industry benchmark is 20.7 megapixel.
Photosensitive components have the 2x2 binning model, under which, they can simulate 4 pixels
into a large pixel, which greatly boosts photosensitivity, and high-ISO imaging in low light. The 2x2
binning technology also applies to 1080P, 720P and 480P ordinary video recording and night
scenes.
Double color-temperature flash
Consists of two LED flashes, the high color-temperature flash is 5500K while the low color-temperature flash is 2200K. They are not simply
connected in series, but fed power separately and controlled by algorithm. When you turn on the flash, the camera will choose the most
suitable flash intensity combination of the high and the low color temperature based on the color temperature of the night scene. It then
presents a supplementary lighting effect closest to the natural light. In low-light environments, this greatly reduces undesirable effects like
chromatic aberration, too pale complexions, oily skin and red eyes.
Stronger ISP chip
The built-in four-channel ISP has a processing speed of 4*1.5 Gbps, which is 2 times more than the MX3. It features stronger processing performance, faster data transmission and shorter camera activation time.
You can do burst shooting at a speed of 30 frames per second at 10 megapixel, and capture a complete high-speed action sequence.
Even a 20 second long time exposure is possible in a night scene and so is shooting creative ambient lighting effects.
4K super-clear videos
In keeping with the capability of the 20.7 megapixel IMX 220, it can shoot 4k videos at a bit rate of 30 frames per second.
The H.265 coding reduces the video size by half when the image quality is equal, and saves storage space on the device.
